In my blog I may refer to a person being either:
Caucasian: White
Mongoloid: Yellow
Negroid: Black
This is not saying that one race is better or more intelligent than the other, I am merely stating a fact. People can be wholly from one race, or a mixture of the three race’s. For some reason that escapes me,White people do not mind being called ‘white’ (because that is what they are), Yellow people do not mind being called ‘yellow’ (because that is the colour of their skin), but for some reason Negroid (or black) people resent being called either ‘Negro or black’ (and that is what they are). Negro is just ‘black’ in Spanish. But that is their problem and not mine as I am not being offensive and not treating them any different from anyone else. I respect all people from all races until individuals from that race have shown that they are undeserving of my respect.
I may also refer to some ones religion, either as an individual or as a group. I am an Atheist so do not have any religious preference. This does not mean that I do not respect anyone else’s right to believe in any religion they wish. I may respect their right to believe in a religion, but this does not mean that I believe in or respect their religion. Just their right to believe in it.
My personal take on religion? I believe religion to be the most evil controlling device ever thought up by man. Religion fills a person full of guilt and fear, then offers them the only way out, providing they do as exactly as they are told without question. This gives tremendous power to priests over the masses. But thankfully due to the freely available information on the Internet plus our enlightened and well educated youth, people world wide are opting out of this archaic controlling belief system by the millions. Atheism is on the rise.
Homosexuals? I think nothing about homosexuals, they are just there like anyone else. I am not homophobic. To have a phobia means to fear something. I do not fear homosexuals although I choose not to have anything to do with them because I find them strange. I recognize their right to exist but I do not have to accept their ideology or life-style. I choose not to eat chocolate cake. Would this make me chocolate cake phobic? Of course not, the idea would be as ridiculous as it sounds.
My take on the sexes? In some cultures women (and men) have lost the respect that they once had, and I feel that is a shame. In some cultures women (and men) were (and still are) treated with little respect and no better than possessions or animals. And that was and still is a great shame. Do I think both sexes are equal? No! That is not to say that I think one sex is superior to the other. Women do some things better than men, and men do some things better than women. But in the end it seems to balance out okay.
That is it. If you choose to read any of my thoughts on my blog now, you will know from where I am coming from.
